Northern Europe Hydrogen (Latvia)
Innovative green hydrogen facility in Liepāja Special Economic Zone.
Northern Europe Hydrogen is Northern Energy’s flagship development and one of the most advanced hydrogen initiatives in the Baltic Sea region. The project with 850MW electrolysis will employ advanced AI-based production optimization, enabling hydrogen output to follow real-time physical deliveries of renewable power from wind and solar, supplemented by grid electricity. This approach targets a 60% utilization rate of the electrolyzer facility, ensuring high operational efficiency and an optimized cost structure.
Located in the Liepaja Special Economic Zone, the project benefits from substantial tax incentives and strong support from local and national stakeholders. Northern Europe Hydrogen is positioned to become a major green hydrogen and hydrogen-derivatives hub for Northern Europe.

Raahe Hydrogen (Finland)
200 MW of production capacity by 2030.
Raahe Power-to-X is a flagship green hydrogen development strategically located within the Port of Raahe, Finland. Designed to deliver 200 MW of production capacity by 2030, the project combines exceptional power availability, direct port access, and strong industrial synergies in one of the Nordics' leading energy hubs.
With scalable infrastructure, abundant water resources, and close collaboration with local authorities, Raahe offers an ideal platform for large-scale hydrogen production, e-fuels, and other next-generation Power-to-X applications supporting Europe's clean energy transition.

NorSAF Hydrogen (Latvia)
NorSAF is a project strategically located in Liepāja, Latvia, established for production of synthetic SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel).
Northern Europe Energy Group will deliver hydrogen to NorSAF based on a 150 MW electrolyzer capacity.
With secured access to grid capacity, access to power, scalable industrial land, and direct connectivity to the Baltic Sea port infrastructure, the project will become a key contributor to Europe's sustainable aviation fuel value chain.
Scheduled to be fully operational by 2030, NorSAF supports the growing demand driven by EU decarbonization policies and ReFuelEU Aviation targets.
